I'm thinking about glossy white or flat black.
And btw, I thought matte and flat are similar colors (those are synonyms, no?). If not, can you plz give a couple of examples?

 

Buy a Bagster tank cover, that way you hide the dent, protect the tank it from future mishaps (scratches, other ******** etc.) and it will take easy on / easy off non-magnetic tank bag. Should be in the region of $130 or so probably.

That video was money, the dent I got is almost identical the bike the repaired. Restored my faith in returning my baby to her rightful condition (yes I am that ****) and mellowed me out a bit knowing that I can get it fixed. Gonna check to see if my shop can do it since I don't have the tools for it.

 

I'm not a professional so I dont know all the differences, just know the look and process is diff. Think its just a flatting agent added in the clearcoat.
