Default dented 600rr tank

so it took me about 2 hrs but i finally popped the plastic cover off of my tank, dented the tank, and formed the plastic cover back to the dented tank. It was a pain in the ars but i just used a dead blow to dent the tank and then a heat gun and the rounded side of a rubber mallot to form the cover to the tank. It looks real smooth, almost like it came from the factory (the way it should have). hopefully Barne's will have my risers done tomorrow and I can post some pics of the dented tank AND the DB set up.

MOST DEFINATELY PICS! Half of the crewIbelong to,SOCAL 5150 RIDERS, have 600rr's and nobody can figure out how to do that.I like what you did. It sounds good. Post some pics it will really give us stunters a good example for plastic covered tanks. Congrats on the great idea, your the first person i know of to have done something like that. A how to may be a good idea too if you get the time...

i am not as happy with it as i thought i would be. it is not as rough as i had hoped but it still grips well. i am going to leave it on for a couple of weeks and if i start to slip im going back to grip tape.
