yea i was thinking that too...probably gonna just go that route

 

My wife's F4i has a yellow undertail and looks very good, i think its better to paint it with the same color of the bike...

 

Does she have a tire hugger? If not how does the paint hold up against whatever flings up at it.

 

looks great, you may consider going to the hardware store and asking someone who knows if there is any coating you can use.
there is teflon paint but im not sure if it would be the right thing, or how said application would differ in texture/color if it was all one color instead of two.

 

yea. im gonna get the tail itself done at a friends shop and ill prolly just spray the undertail with some kinda black matte or semi gloss. dont want it to be real shiny but not totally flat. still kinda on the fence about it.
