Default smell...

Hey guys, really weird question, but just wondering if you guys have the same problem, if you wear jeans or long pants, do you smell gas on the outside of your pants on the right side, about where the knee is at or maybe a little below? Is something leaking on my bike or what or is this normal?

your clothes should smell like burnt hyrdocarbs, after every ride. especially if you live in a congested city.
if the gas wasnt burnt thoroughly they can make your clothes smell like unprocessed fuel. the smells that you pick up is not just from your bike, most of the scent is pickup from riding around.
^my 20 cents.
if you dont see any droplet of any kind on the floor after a good ride then i wouldnt worry about it

My wife always tells me I have a gas smell on me after riding. I thought she was nuts. I bet the burnt fuel is the smell she means.

i noticed that too. but i'm running straight exhaust pretty much and it doesn't come out far and away enough from my bike so it's usually the worst on my right leg.
