What you will need:
1. 2.
4. 1 inch drill bit
I used this video for wiring instructions. Not going to go into details as the video covers everything well.
1. I ran a wire from the battery/ fuse box to the front (I used the 10amp headlight fuse to piggy back off of)
2. Used a 1 inch wood drill bit to cut over the smaller hole that is already in the plastic liner
3. The cigarette lighter adapter snaps right in to the 1 inch hole and mounts flush with the plastic liner.
a. I did have to remove the sound resonator (empty box that sits on top of the intake pipe) on the left side
i. As I understand this box does not serve much purpose with an aftermarket exhaust.
b. You will also have to bend the pins on the back of the lighter adapter to get it the plastic fender piece to fit snugly
c. I used some Shoe Goo around the sig adapter (back side) to make sure it holds in place
4. (If using this for radar detector) I attached the ram mount to the mirror mount screw.
5. I put industrial Velcro on the top of the Ram mount and on the back of the radar detector; also use another Velcro strap to go around the adapter+ detector (it seems to hold well)
(This might work better .. if you don’t trust the Velcro idea)
