RE: SHOT DOWN
my man Draconius is right about the used bike. Start with a cheap bike or save up some money and buy something decent.
As for credit issue, I strongly recommend opening up a savings/checking account with a good bank, not some local crap. Two, get an American Express; co-sign it if you have to, but dont make minimum payments. PAY EVERYTHING IN FULL. You'll build up nice credit in half of year, a year max. good luck.

RE: SHOT DOWN
Get a secured credit card, one that reports to the credit bereau(however you spell it) neways one that reports every month that you made the payment on time...it will definetly help your credit...and like alekinci said...don't make minimum payments, buy somthing pay it off that month keep doing that for a few months and you will be able to buy whatever you want...

RE: SHOT DOWN
i may be wrong but several bankers/ loan officers have told me that paying in full is not the best way to get great credit rather kept a balance on the credit card and pay about 30% a month. and saving/checkin accounts will not help your credit enough to matter, but if you overdraw it will hurt you. just my .02 cents
