On my way home today, the piece that connects to the shifter arm, that comes out above the footpeg (the piece that contacts your foot) fell off.
It looks like it screws in, but I can't tell for sure....do I need a whole new shifter arm, or can I jerry rig something (like a bolt) so I can at least get it to the dealership tomorrow?
Oh...it's an 01.

 

First time I dropped my bike on the clutch side it snapped off just the tip of the shifter. I tried to drill a hole and put a bolt in. didnt work out. Bought a used on on ebay for a few bucks.
