setting shock preload without...

Default setting shock preload without...

honda didn't supply tool kits with the 06's[sm=icon_beat.gif]. whats the best way to adjust the rear preload without damaging anything?

Check with your dealer. My tool kit wasn't in the trunk, and when I went back they gave it to me. As far as I know, they were supplied.

That's weird...I did go back to my dealer, and all they gave me were keys for the spark plugs, I also called Honda and they told me tool kits weren't supplied with '06.

Interesting. I ended up getting a really good tool set with my 06. It came with screw drivers, the preload tool, spark plug socket, all kinds of good stuff.

I also called Honda and they told me tool kits weren't supplied with '06.
They were in Canada! My F4i's kit has a tool for (what I think is) almost every fastener on the bike that a customer would need to work on. I'm just happy to have the weird tools like the rear preload tool and the wrenches to remove the wheels...

You have to use the wrench in the kit. you can buy a after market one or better yet pm me I have a extra one I can sent you.
