Default Rotary Stabilizer or Piston Style Steering Damper???

Do any of you guys have a rotary stabilizer like the 1000rr or a regular piston type steering damper? What are the pros and cons of each? Any major differences???

Thanks for the help.

Default RE: Rotary Stabilizer or Piston Style Steering Damper???

I haven't had the opportunity to use either yet, but I would think that the piston-style one is more cumbersome, depending on how and where it is mounted. The rotary-style seems less obstructive.
