Anybody have recommendations on a good book on motorcycle technique? I've been thinking about buying "Twist Of The Wrist". Anyone here read any of 'em?

 

Twist is good, twist 2 is better but neither will beat going to a track day. You will learn more in that day than you have since you started riding. Other wise I think there are several other books out there that are good. Nick Ienatsch wrote one that is supposed to be pretty good, but I forget the name now. Reg Pridmore may have one out too, I dont recall.

 

Nick Ienatch wrote Sport Riding Techniques. It's got great photography and an easy, pleasurable read.

 

sport riding techniques is the only book i usually suggest to learn riding techniques

 

Thanks to all! I'll look into those this monday. (I really want to go to a track day but the closest one to my house is over 200 miles away. )

I fail to see the problem with this. Surely you have some buddies. Split gas, etc and it wont be too bad. We drive 5hrs to do track days a couple of times a year. And I've actually got one less than 2hrs away. Brainerd just isnt as fun as MAM. Someday, look into it. Until then, enjoy the read.
