I live in sunny southern california. I ride 130 miles to and from work everyday (I don't know about you fellas in the other states, but that's a hell of a commute out here). So, ya, I rode today. And lane splitting, if not legal, is definitely practiced a lot on our crowded freeways. I wish you all could do the same, it makes sitting through traffic so much better, because we aren't actually sitting through it.

yeah lane splitting is legal here in cali..but it sucks when those damn drivers just want to keep you from passing them

I ride my bike to work everyday, and we hardly have any bike laws down here and cops aren't allowed to chase you.

Hehe, I'm from Lebanon, but I've been living in Dubai, UAE for almost 3 years now, lived 4 years in Canada before that.

So basically I can't get speeding tickets, i can't get chased, i can ride on the shoulders if i want, i can split lanes, I can't get parking tickets, it just goes on and on...

Exactly man, and now the heat is so ****ing unbearable, i just wiz to work and back on the bike and just barely ride in the evenings. Sand is such a bitch when its windy out and all of it is blowing against your arms and neck, the sh*t stings yo

I live in NJ so I get to ride 8 months out the year with no problem the other four my bike gets a ride at least once a month my civic also gets lonely just siiting there parked when i actualy need it it dont want to start I think it gets mad at me.

I rode to work one day last Feb when it was 19 degress in the morning here in CO. It was worth it because by the time I rode home it was in the 50's.
