RE: Who wants to skip work and ride?
I like the sound of this topic, reminds me of the times I started out to work & ended up 300 kays away in the opposite direction, having to ring up & give some weak excuse why I would not be at work that day. (although never did that when I was a motorcycle courier in Sydney?)

I'm with you. Seeing that sun shine/65 degree temp after those few cold wet days we had....Super pissed to be at work right now!!
Oh well...getting a stint of that killer bigbird flu...probably won't make it in tomorrow...Oh by the way it's supposed to be 70+ for fellow DFW riders.

RE: Who wants to skip work and ride?
Blah...went to work and worked until 3pm.
By the time I rode the 30 miles home, went by Honda to get some chain Lube and came home it was
3:45pm
Which leaves about 2 hours and 15 minutes of daylight left, half of that you have to go through rush hour
to get to the good spots.
But,
This Thursday or Friday, I can take off both days. In fact I don't work Fridays.
(Well least until next year when I go to a higher salary. (50k a year...31 hour work week).
Most money, in as little time I have made in my life. I see a new ZX-10 in my near future.
Or if the CBR 100 RR this year comes out smokin'...maybe that.
Definitely not a Gixxer or an R1.
Anyhoo again, anyone in the area mentioned in my first post, I know some great back roads.
Some with no traffic...except for the occasional vulture, wild pig, feeding on roadkill.
Can you say ton plus until you get used to 110 being on the slow side, and 150 feeling about right?
Sure you can.
PM me if interested.
