Default Reserve light question and mirrors

Just wondering how many gallons are left in the tank when the reserve light comes on. So far mine has come on between 80 and 100 miles. Also, how many miles are most of you getting to a tank in your 01-03 f4i's?

Also, i need a set of aftermarket mirrors, but i cant find any that i like. I like the pig spotters, but the visability sucks. Any suggestions?

The 2002 is what I have, holds 4.8 gallons of fuel. When the reserve light comes on, there is one gallon of fuel left. My mileage varies on how I ride, in town I get around 40 mpg and on the highway around 50 mpg. As for mirrors, I got the carbon fiber style on ebay.

reserve kicks in after there is less than .9 gallon left so you have roughly about 30 miles to go on while doing 130mph. so youll get to that gas station soon. as for the mirrors, I don’t know if you are looking for a nice look or for visibility.

Stephens: do you have a pic of the mirrors on your bike. My bike has the same color scheme, and exhaust as yours does, so it will give me a pretty good idea.

Alekinci: I am going more for looks, but i need some visibility

My tank holds 4.76 Gallons total. The reserve is .75 gallons. I get around 150 miles to a tank.
