Replacement Thermostat

Replacement Thermostat
My bike has been getting hot real quick when stopped. Much faster than it has in the past. Stays about 180 on the highway though and the fan is working. My thoughts lead me to replace the thermostat and do a coolant flush.
Ive called around to a ton of different stores and no one has it in stock. The part number is 19300-MCJ-003. Is there a way to cross reference this part number and get a thermostat from a local auto parts store? Not sure if this is a specially designed one for our bikes or what.
Thanks

sounds normal. especially if its hot out. my bike stays aroung 200-215 in slow traffic but then drops to about 180-90 on highways. It will peak immediately when stopped to 225, but then the fan kicks on which stays on till it goes back down to 220. As long as that is working and not going above 230, you will be ok.
coolant flush wouldnt hurt if its been over a year, changing the thermostat in f4i is a b. call the honda dealer, they will always have it.
autoparts store could be a hit and miss, you have to get the right temp range, size, make sure the jiggle valve is there. better to get oem and rest assured the job is done.
