Default Removing rear wheel?

Anyone know how to do this on the 02 f4i? Its pretty straight forward on my r1, but this looks a little different. Thanks!

Default RE: Removing rear wheel?

Should be the same as your R1. Get it up on the swingarm stand, use a wrench on the left side (axel) and throw a wrench on the right side (nut) and turn like a **** because it should be torqued to 69 ft lbs, usually a bear to break loose. Slide out the axel to the left, also a bear to pull out, support the wheel before hand too. Once the axel is out the wheel should drop right out. Also the sprocket assy will fall out too once the wheel's off and don't lose any of the rubber cushions inside the sprocket assy.

loosen the nut on the right side (exhaust pipe)
make the chain as loose as possible by turning those little bolts and pushin in the wheel
remove the chain
remove the nut and axle

remove the rearmost brake caliper bolt first, then the axel, push the wheel forward enough to take the chain off and it pulls right out

just takes a minute or two once you get it down
