Removing Rear Wheel without a stand

Removing Rear Wheel without a stand
Ok so I noticed that i keep losing pressure in my rear wheel. I need to remove my wheel and take it to get patched but I don't own a bike stand to keep it on. Anyone stood the bike up with cinder blocks or anything without problems with it tipping over?..... I'm just trying to find a method to stand it up for a while without the rear wheeland make sure it won't tip.

RE: Removing Rear Wheel without a stand
Before I got a swingarm stand I had to replace arear tire. I parked my bike under the carport and hooked two ratchet strapsby therearfootpegs. Then I ran them at 45 degrees up and around the ceiling rafters. I had toclamp the front brake as well, but it actually worked out okay...the bike was secure. But I wouldn't trade anything formy swingarm and front stand set now...best investment a DIY bike owner can make!
