Do it on the cheap (but good quality). Use the Supertech (Walmart) filter ST7317 (It's made by Champion), and Rotella-T 5w40 full syn. (in the Blue Jug).

That filter is cheap (~$3) and it is the the same quality as OEM...plus it is a bit taller so it will filter just as good, if not better that OEM.

So I decided to go with Amsoil and Jesus was it expensive. Cost me $71 for a oil change. I don't even spend that kind of money on my girlfriend. However I instantly noticed a difference, she shifts a lot smoother. Still not perfect but a world better.

??? DAMN ??? Its not even that much for my car!!! (Amsoil)

I am thinking of going to rotella t but Im kinda nervious about using because it is a diesil oil. Does anyone have any feed back on this oil. what is the long term effect of this oil? Thanks

It's heavy duty motor oil. There's no such thing as diesel oil, or gasoline oil for that matter.

i started using castrol and started to miss shift like a mother F-er and now its slipping in 3rd doing clutch ups

my computer is not alowing me to open bobs forums. So is this an oil you would recomend or what kind of oil would you recomend. THe only oil that is out of the picture for me is amsoil not because its not good but because its 19.99 a quart at thr local store.

Here is another Oil Info page... VERY informative. And they recommend Rotella-T 5w-40 in the blue jugs. Motorcycle Oil and Filter info
