Hey Guys and Gals,

I'm looking to modify CBR (600 pictured below) cosmetically. It currently only has a rear hugger and tinted double bubble screen. Carbon fibre heel plates are on the way.

I want it to look the beez kneez.

Can you offer me any advice on some cool looking mods I can do to my bike anywere from wheel pinstripe all the way to coulour LCD Displays and angel eyes.

Basically I want it to stand out but not be tacky but look cool and different. All ideas will be appriciated and don't think any ideas will be stupid. Any ideas what you've used yourself or thinking about using or even know or heard of somone do, all goes. Thanks for the time and as much info as possible is greatly appriciated, Tom.

 

First things first. I'd lose that can and that nanner seat. After that there are a ton of things. But really it's all up to you man. It's YOUR bike. Build it to suit YOUR tastes. Who cares if someone else thinks it looks tacky. Do what you want with it!

Haha, but no... There's many things you can do, but like said do what YOU want. There's endless possibilities out there man, be creative... Neon's, change your display LED's, pipe, etc.

It has a walkthru as well as the part #'s for the LED's and where you can get them.

HID's are an excellent upgrade, DDM Tuning has the best quality for the price.

The Audi style LED in your headlights are cheap and look amazing.

I got my Rim stripes off ebay from "therimstripes" or something close to that.
Other then that, Just make it your own!

On the mods, all I can think of right now is adjustable aftermarket levers. I'd also look into painting that grab bar black because I think it would blend in with the tail better and look a bit more sleek. I also like the reflective rim tape idea.

 

CBRF decals would make it look great and you can get them in reflective vinyl

Adjustable levers are great, +1 also on the black grab bar z can do red angel eyes if that's something you would like. And a fender eliminator kit with intergrated(sp) signals

 

You can do my Leds turn signals, look in the How-to's section...

 

Wow guys, Thanks for all the cool replies. I think i'm definately going to change the colour of the Display and paint the grab bar. I like the idea of the angel eyes( Seen some glass ones for £40 delivered), but would have to stick to white to keep Mr. Bobbie happy. Any more for any more? If you know of people on here who haven't read this thread yet and know some cool stuff, give them a nudge so they can throw in their ideas too? :P haha Cheers again guys and thanks for the links jeff.
