Default Did the LED Gauge change.

Well I just finished up the LED colour change from the ugly yellowish-orange to blue. It looks better then the picture lol.
Ordered in the blue and white LED's from eled.com and decided to go with the blue. So now I have extra white ones left over.

To give credit where I found a walkthru,

http://cbrworld.net/forums/thread/281354.aspx

Also Installed a Hi-mount Devil SB2 exhaust recently and 8000k DDM Tuning HID Headlights. Gotta make my 1st street bike my own.

Just thought I would share,

Cheers

looks good...but it looks like you missed a lead. Temp gauge never reads 35 deg's. Im assuming it meant 95 but one lead isnt good.

I'm in Canada, So it's 35^C not ^F. My average running Temperature is around 80^C where yours is probably around 175^F ish.

De-soldering was the hard part, Just trying to make sure all the pins on the LCD Displays were desoldered right so it could just slip out.
From start to finish it probably took me 3 hours.
I wouldnt suggest it if you have never soldered before. But it gets easier as you go.
Make sure you have a fine tipped soldering iron and thin desoldering wick.

Very cool - looks really sharp jeff. If I wasn't deathly afraid of all electronics i'd give it a shot.

There is also www.bluegauges.com which I have heard good things about and you can choose any coulour you want. I thinks you send them your gauge and $70 and they will return it in a couple days with everything changed.
I took electrical engineering in college, so if I would have got someone else to do it I'm sure someone would have slapped me.

As for the Hi-mount I love it to, Its the Titanium one so it doesnt get to hot either. Its says I dont need a PCIII but I will probably end up getting one next season anyways.
