Default Rear signals

I have an 02 F4i. I got a rear undertail kit, and im not too fond of just having a single brake light, and the other being a turn signal(braking and turning at same time seems a little "unsure" to people behind me Id think)
I also have an extra set of hotbodies flush mount signals. I have never seen them installed on the rear tail, but does anyone know how they'd look? Plus that and turn signals have to be 8 inches apart for inspection.

no one is ever close enough behind me to make use of my turn signals, unless my friends are riding with me on their bikes, but we usually use hand signals anyway lol

anybody else? I want to take hotbodies flush mount turnsignals(for the front) and mount them on the rear tail, in addition to the undertail kit. I dont feel the undertail is "clear" enough for drivers behind me to get the idea that im turning and braking at the same time.

Dude, I've been thinking the same thing,, and I've seen pictures with it done and it doesn't look bad at all,, I live in Dallas,, so there's always someone behind me,, usually cops, lol, just how it goes.....,,, but yeah, I got pulled over and was given a ticket for not using my turn signals,, I keep telling him I was using them,, I went to court on it last thursday and got it dismissed with the video, but even I wasn't sure, they wern't bright at all,, I only saw it flash like 3 times when I was looking,, but most of the time I was looking at the judge. Just been a big hassle!

That's why I'll never do an underbodies kit... the stock brakes are putting out like 800 lumens and 400 for each turn signal... the LED underbodies kits are like at MOST 50 lumens TOTAL! the flush LED mounts are like 20 lumens... seriously a dangerous decision IMO... you CAN have bright LEDs, but they take alot of work... Check out what I did for the brakes:

http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=26376

Normally, 3 or 5mm LEDs are rougly 1 lumen. that's right, 1 lumen, or 1/50th of a watt... even a 1 watt tungsten bulb is 20 lumens... and we have 20 watt bulbs x 2... These LEDs you see are 45 lumens each... I'm still working on a prettier prototype, but it's in the bike and you can't see the fugliness... but it's functional and BRIGHT.

I think im gonna go and drill the holes(the rear tail was cracked--almost beyond repair and I fixed it, so its not perfect to begin with) and install them tomorrow. Im still waitng on the undertail kit(damn ebay shipper is taking forever)
I'll take pictures of how it comes out.
