Are they always supposed to be on or do they just flash when the turn signal is activiated? I've noticed the fronts are always on and just flash when the turn signal is on. The backs are constantly off, except for when they flash whenthey flash as the turn signal. Is that normal?

 

im pretty sure both front AND rear signals are all supposed to be off unless activated.

im assuming u have an f4i? what year is it?

 

the f4is have a runnning light up front for "safety" you can bypass it by testing the wires and clipping it. But to answer your question that is normal, the front should always be on and the rear only when turning
