I'm about to order parts. Can anyone identify part #7 in a photo of their rear latch mechanism? Alternatively, use the photo I linked to in a previous post in this thread. Much appreciated.

 

Part #7 holds the cable next to the lock. I can't get you a pic because I cut that part of the undertray off when I installed my undertail. I had to relocate it to use the untertail lock.

Need some help here:

I purchased the only part I could see missing (#4) and put the assembly back together. For some reason, the latch (#5) doesn't close far enough to latch the seat on securely. Whatever makes is spring loaded, isn't springy. It's almost as thought the cable is too tight. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? This seems like a simple mechanism.
