Default REAR BRAKE TRAVEL

Is it just mine or is there a lot of travel in the rear brake before it feels like there is pressure there.
My bike is an 02 f4i. Has anybody else had the same thing ?

Mine is an '02 as well and have never had a problem. Check the brake pads, the fluid level (and for air) and cable tension. Sounds like some maintanance is due.

^ditto
check the pads. you dont feel them grab as hard as the front of course; but event at 100mph you should feel them as soon as you make contact.
also, use sand paper (180-220 grain) on the rear rotor to remove any brake pad pattern that was formed on the rotor it self.
remember, never slam on the rear!!!!! press it progressively.
