rain causing the problem

Default rain causing the problem

my bike sits outside and it rained on and off for about 2 days on it. today i tried to start it and it sputtered for about 6 tries then i rolled the throttle a lot and it slowly came to. my bike has been rained on a lot before, but never had any problem? and ideas on the problem? thanks

invest in a bike cover?

check electrical connections and dry em out maybe

+1, ignition something or other. Try a marine store for a spray to help you out with this.

water in the exhaust? did it "gurgle" at you? I noticed this with my dirtbike. After it rained it was a pain in the *** to start and it sounded funny. I now use a cloth in the tailpipe of both bikes when it rains.
