first one...don't if you don't have to...
but if you do...
brake gently, allow for much more time...
no sudden jerking or turning movement with the bike.
avoid leaning more than you have to.
watch out for cars because if it's a downpour, they won't see you and you may not see them due to the amount of rain coming down.
turn your head to the right and left freqently to clear the shield of any rain that has collected.
basically, be smooth as butter and you're ok!
