Default Race day

Ok I work for Eaton and every year they rent the Milan Drag strip. This year it's on June 17th. I am looking to get Some advice on what to get for my bike. Should I get a PC III? Any quick tips to get it to run better. I get my $600 check next week and would like to spend it on stuff for the bike. I don't want $200 levers or an new fairing to get rid of the rash. I am talking about stuff that will improve my time. If I get a pc III I have a two brothers slip on can I run race fuel with the right map or do I need the ignition module? I just want to kill the 2 guys with RR's. I have been practicing launches.

f4i isint really a drag bike, streaching and lowering a bike will do the most for it along with new sprockets but you wont want to do that on a 600. just rock it it's close to a 10 sec bike stock

I bought it with M1's on it. I am already running -1/+2 520. I know it's not a drag bike this is just for a once a year company drag outing just trying tohumiliate a couple RR's. I'll get the PC3 next week the quick shifter too. I am not going to lower or stretch my daily 600 I agree it's not realistic. I think I will go with an air filter PC3 and quickshifter. It shows an authorized tuning dealer 15minutes away so I will get one done if it doesn't go way over budget. If I do get new rubber (I had a record of at least one flat a year on my old F3 [:@]) what should I get?? I ride this bike to work everyday it's nice.

Anyone that wants to go to Milan Michigan that day can bring your bike or car and run it. Let me know by the end of next week.

If you want serious speed on the drag track perhaps a nitrous kit?

Nitrous, Turbo, and Supercharger are out of the question. and I could get the supercharger for free. Not worth the problems. I can't justify it on a daily 600 for a once a year event.

I think the PC3 with a tune is only going to knock off so much, even with a tune on race gas. The only big gain I could see, is stretching it and running the juice lol

agreed with everyone else, u wont see that much of a diff with a custom tune and 600 would barely cover the tuning of it let alone buying the pcIII, but you could have a hookup. i would just buy the pcIII and dl the map and mayb have ur friend setup ur suspension for the track. its a 10 sec bike, bust ur *** and get those 10 secs cuz its hard if youve never done it before
