If that's OTD (out the door), it is a great deal. Instead of OTD it may be NIB (new in box). Then it has to be assembled, prepped, taxed.... and you get close to $8K or more.

The verbiage provided on the site is very specific and it leads me to believe that

they use the term 'out the door' in one part of the page

and in another part they say '$6,783.00 ', still another it says

'Southern Honda strives to maintain accurate web pricing. Please call and speak to a salesman to lock in your price and make arrangements to pick up your unit'

It sounds like those nice folks in Tennesee are not saying 'give me $6783 dollars and I will give you an assembled 2005 F4i that comes complete with registration and license plates for you to enjoy' which most people understand to be 'out the door'

It sounds like they have a very good price to start and you will wind up with a good price at the end but you ain't paying $6783 OTD.

it is the "Out The Door" price.....no extra assembly, prep, etc. etc. charges.......

if you live out of state there is no tax, title, etc... you pay that when you register it in your state....

if your in TN then sure they add tax, title, etc. etc.....which is normal....(there's no way around it, you have to pay tax one way
or another)......

i have read other reviews of that dealership on other forums....

everyone that has bought there drives down get's that price, either drives it back or loads it up in their truck/trailer.....they are in and out in less than a couple hours.......

they are a volume dealership so they make less on each sale......

if you don't believe me call them....

i emailed them about a 1000RR and they replied that thier price is "Out The Door"......

in your case it's $717 less than what you paid (7,500 - 6,783).... to some people that's not worth the hassle of going out of state, to
other it might be... me personally , i draw the line at $500 if it's $500 less then I will go out of state.....

i think your 7,500 price is a pretty good deal though.......

At that price it is worth spending a day on the road. I'd have to think twice if It was two days.

Thanks for the info.
