I recently picked up an 06 that is Candy Blue/Black color scheme.

I'm new to these bikes, so be easy on me... but what other years had these colors? Is it common?

Anyone have any pics of their bikes with this color scheme?

As far as I know... this it the first year for your paint scheme. Looks good. The blue is a common color they use, but it the first time I've seen it with the black like that. The 03-04 RR had an all blue option.

 

Thanks for the info Don. I was looking through some of the photo galleries and haven't run across a Blue/Black yet, so that's why I was wondering.

Kup125 - I could only find the '05 and '06 colors on the Honda site, is there someplace on there that list previous years colors?

 

i got the same color about 2 months ago.....i love the blue and black.

 

I know that '05 was grey/silver and wine/silver.

 

I'm jealous...I like that blue, but they shouldn't have done it with the black. It should have been yellow or white...then I'd be drooling...don't get me wrong, I'm happy with the yellow, but the blue is pretty! Very nice!

 

Nice! Looks awesome! I'm getting a race fairing set that I was going to paint a similar blue, kinda like a red-bull blue
