RE: Quiet Exhaust
Define "way to loud". I got a d&D and its impossible to go to anything else at this point. A lot of people that dont know jack about bikes come up to me and ask me if its a 1000. Of couse I say yes. Point is that, they are good (not great) pipes. Cheap and its good to be loud on a road, it can save your life if people around can hear you.
Microns on CBRs are weak, but they are good pipes though.
Muzzys are nice.

RE: Quiet Exhaust
I dont think its true that the quitest pipe is the stock. I agree with Lockless about Akropovic being quite. Its a nice deep and lower pitch sound. A bit like Yushimora but deeper. Micro's sound a bit different on the cbrs. I dont know why. However, I love that pipe because I have two friends on 636r and after a hard rev and instant release of throttle the pipe backfires with a blue flame. THat thing is awesome.
Just this, any pipe u get after stock is better. One; is the unique sound. More importantly that you will have less chance of burning your leg/food on the after market because they do not get as hot as stock.
