Quick Question
I just want to take a second to say Hello and thanks for this awesome site. Two days ago I purchased an 06 F4I. This is my first bike and I got a really good deal on it. 5000 miles, Mint condition, 3 year extended warranty , akrapovic pipe, flush front turn signals , two helmets, a jacket and gloves for $5000. I cant wait to get the title so I can finally get the chance to ride it. My question is simple, Ive looked everywhere but cannot find a fuel guage on it anywhere. I know some bikes dont come with one. Can anyone shed some light on this and let me know if there are any warning lights in association with the fuel. Thanks

RE: Quick Question
Reserve bars only... they will go down in a pre-set no. of miles after you hit reserve.
This can be misleading sometimes though. If you're sitting in traffic and idling then you might run out of fuel quicker. Just remember that you have around a gallon when the reserve first comes on, and then know how much mileage your bike gives. this will give you an estimate of how badly you need a gas station! I've done both 50 miles (highway) and 20 miles (city) after reserve hit, and gas ran out in the 20mi case! since it was really stop-go (I was just home by then whew)
