My f4i is for sale and I have a buyer. I have the title. What do I need to do besides sign over the title and take the license plate? I will call the insurance company tomorrow to see when and how I go about cancelling that if the deal goes through.

 

cash.possibly a bill of sale. maybe notorized. that should be it.

 

DO NOT SIGN AND HAND OVER THE TITLE BEFORE YOU HAVE ALL THE CASH FOR THE BIKE.

 

It's a cash deal. I know it's a lot of cash to ask someone to bring with them but I'm not accepting any other form of payment. I'll have the money in my hand and then we'll do the paperwork.

 

+1, it's always been a cash deal. I have the cash in hand...THEN you can ride the bike if you want and THEN we'll do the signing. Keep the portion that you need to send to your DMV to let them know it's not in your name anymore (if your state has that). I left the plate, did not have a problem with that.

Same when buying.......hand over the cash, then I'll ride it, then we'll do the paper work.
