If i make my own fender eliminator for the bike, what will happen when i try to move the seat lock? Will i have to cut the cable when i remount it or will it work fine if u just move it? or any tips i should know before doing this?

As long as the cable does not bind then you should be all right. I moved mine with the rumble undertail and don't have any problems. It is now located underneath. You don't need to cut the cable. Just make sure that the cable reaches before you relocate it.

 

you can even get a longer cable from most bike shops(brake cables) and you can pretty much put it anywhere you want.
