Guys I'm new to this world so don't rip me apart for this question. So I have been looking for a Cbr on craigslist, etc. and now I have signed up here. I guess the point I'm trying to get to is what is the difference between the Cbr-600 and a F4i?

 

The F4i is a 600cc bike but it is the model. There is a F1, F2, F3, F4, F4i and 600RR. All these bikes are 600's but they are all very different in there own way. The F1-F4 are carb. The F4i and RR's are fuel injected. Plus there are many other difference's but this is a general start.
