Default RE: proper position at highway speeds

i just changed my p.o.s. helmet for an arai rx-7. great helmet, however i found that now i can't tuck anymore behind the windshield, because somehow the upper part of the helmet (above the visor) comes into my field of view and can't see anything i didn't have this problem with the old one... does anybody else have this problem? am i tucking too low? (this happens only when i'm trying to actually look through the windscreen, helmet almost touches the tank).

I second the ear plugs, the wind noise under the helmet is too great to not wear protection.

If the wind noise doesn't bother you, it's too late :P

yea i was kinda wondering what the proper way to get in the tuck position was too.
the wind doesnt bother me that much, but when its cold and im goin around 50 i just prefer to tuck to keep the wind off my chest (that way the only things that may get cold are my hands) but i was afraid i looked like a retard tucking (in case i wasnt doing it right) but i kinda just found out on my own to make sure my butt is slid to the back of the seat, plus it feels more comfortable.

so good post, so now im sure i dont look like a retard tucking the wrong way, haha
