Default problem: bike died!!!

ok...i was riding today to work, and about after 15 miles, my bike started to sputter...so when i let off the throttle i heard a pop sound from the exhaust., and i let the thottle off all the way, the idle got down to less then 500rpms and died...
turn it on, and i had to keep the rpms high to no let the bike stall...
i installed an o2 sensor, wich i don't think that it my be the problem...
i'm thinking about the fuel pressure regulator...
what do you guys think??

no... the FI didn't blink even once...that's why i'm confused...everything worked fine, good gas mileage...and boom-out of nowhere...

Have you checked for any codes? there is a jumper harness under the seat, just jump the wires and turn on the key

and count the number of flashes.

check the spark plugs. i had some of the same symptoms. it would make a weird sound, idle real low and die. new plugs fixed it.
