OK so, I'm wanting to go custom, but I can't decide which route to take. I Really want to get new plastics which will cost about $800 plus the cost of getting the tank painted... so who knows how much it'll be total.

Would it be cheaper to scrape off the decals and take it into a shop to get the whole thing painted? Or would it be cheaper to just get new plastics and just paint the tank.

What do you think? I can't stand my stock colors anymore!!!

 

Paint. Decals are pretty easy to take off. Just a heat gun and your finger nails, and then some goo gone. Easy as that.

The only way I would get new plastics is if I was keeping the bike forever.
