Default Power Commander V

Alright first post in the entire forum.

I have picked up an 03 f4i for a steal of a price.

I've done a lot of aesthetic modifications: LEDs, tank, seat covers, undertail. But now it's time to start boosting performance.

I have a Yoshi RS-3 Slip on, will be getting K&N filter

So my question is if I were to get the Power Commander V how much performance would I gain, and what are the added benefits to the accessories they charge so freakin much for and are they worth it. the auto tune, quick shifter?

I see these more for racing though, which I am not doing... often.

What other mods would boost performance and life of the bike

I appreciate the help

Cool

Track school, sticky tires and suspension mods.. allow you to maximize usage of existing performance of your bike..

IMO, all other performance mods are meaningless if you can't use existing performance to the max.

PCV is for 09+ bikes. Performance mods for the engine do little to nothing. Suspension mods and rider mods do way more.

PC3 is what you after. It adjusts your fuel injectors so your engine doesn't run too rich or too lean across the throttle range, which could possibly prolong its live.

Other mods you could do is sprocket mod.
