I've stumbled across a CL ad, that has a guy selling his PCIII USB.

This is the description:
"Came off my 03 vtr 1000.it plugs into my buddies f4i but idk if it will work on all hondas."

If it plugs in, it's compatible right? I've been looking up part numbers and some sites say they are the same, other's say they are different... Does anybody have any experience with this?

 

if it fits youre good but remember youre going to have to have someone remap/retune it

 

call dynojet, if it matches the sku108-411 then you're good, but the vtr isnt even listed on the powercommander website.

 

How much is he selling it for? I got a USB model for sale too.

 

Sooo? How much you selling yours for? I'm thinking that maybe a pc tuned for my altitude would help give me a boost. Any idea what a ballpark price on a tune would run me also?

 

I ended up calling Dynojet like you suggested Rudy and they said that even though it plugs in, it wouldn't work because of the each PCIII is made for that specific bike.

We agreed on $120 before I found out of a possibility of it not working... So I ended up telling him thanks but no thanks.
