If there is less back pressure the exhaust flows better however also more unburnt fuel from the exhaust flow out, which may cause back fire and at higher rpm more fuel is lost causing a little bog
Some people don't notice it, some do, some say its insignificant. I feel it. So that's why i have both

Hes probably putting out around 98 horsepower at the wheel, +/- 2hp

I just downloaded a map onto my PCIII over the last weekend and have been riding all week... the difference is night and day. I didn't think I was guna notice but I did. I got an Akrapovic full system and had PCIII but no map. After the map the bike runs SMOOOOOOTH. Improved my gas milege by alot (I have been getting 92~98 miles before res. bar now I'm getting 110~115). So my personal experience with PCIII, I recommend it. Not really for the performance/speed gain, but to make your bike run smoother. It helps.
