Regulates fuel injection timing, and can also better incorporate products such as quick shifters and ignition modules. Gives you the ability to more finely tune your motorcycle for one-off performance best suited for only your bike.

well aken pretty much sumed it up for you. it's just a chip for a motorcycle. like turner use on cars, or diesel trucks.
