Default power commander???

The dynojet webpage says that adding a power commander will improve mid range and boost horse power even with a stock pipe. Has anyone done this mod? With my 8000 mile service coming up and needing new tires, exhaust will have to wait.

they are trying to sell you something...

PCs are good for what they do, which is adjust your fuel mapping to workbetter with aftermarket parts (usually exhaust) but you shouldn't see any noticeable power gain on a stock bike expecially if your using a free map (you'd probably never feel a power gain with a custom map on a stock bike either)

Save your money for 1000RR. Spending hundreds of dollars for a few (if any HP) is for suckers.

Thanks. I guess I'll just take care of the stuff that keep the bike alive. Maybe, I'll put some money into some real sticky tires...
