going from 2nd to 3rd gear realy struggles to get to 8 thousand revs is this normal? Almost feels like bikes at the limit and then she pulls like a train.

There is an obvious power boost in every gear but in the lower gears it seems to struggle like hell to 8000rpm then the taps open and it flies. I understand that there is a powerband. But not to the point where the bike feels like its red lining before it kicks in??
