I giot my 600RR swingarm, 1000RR shock, and rear caliper last week. the swingarm came with a 600RR shock and all the linkages, but the bolts and spanner wrench section of the shock were all corroded from being out on the east coast. I just got around to breaking all the bolts free and cleaning off the corrosion/road grime off the swingarm (all while on the clock ). I was thinking of what i should do with the swingarm, the anodized silver finish is in perfect condition and doesnt look bad at all, but i'd like to do something to it. I was thinking of either polishing it, or giving it a nice satin black powder coat (and doing my rims at the same time) to match the frame.

Your swingarm certainly looks good. looks like you put alot of time into it.

Oh, for the axle bushing portion of the install, I'll be getting a 36" section of aircraft grade aluminum pipe shaved to the right deminisons from McMaster-Carr. I highly recomend them, we used them a great deal thru my work and their always helpful, have SAME DAY shipping if you need it, and will take back ANYTHING if you cant use it.

I also considered making the bushings out of titanium but just couldnt justify the expense

thanks, i have a few things more to do to the swingarm and it will be done. I'm just gettin the RR rims so I don't have to make the bushing. you also need the shock linkage from the 600rr suspension, which you have so its all gravy from there.
