Default Performance/Fairing Question

I'm going to drop in a K&N air filter and a Yoshi slip on exhaust on my 06 f4i. Some of my buddies were telling me with that I would need one of those power commander units to keep a/f ratio right? I dont even know what a power commander is lol. I have read this also. Is this really needed? Im new to the bike world but have been working on cars for awhile and on a car if you drop a cold air intake and full exhaust on a totally stock car you dont have to worry. So why would it be needed on a bike.

I need new fairings has anyone ever bought from a site called Motorcycle-Fairing.com? Are these good fairings to buy? Thanks

I wouldn't waste your money on a power commander

Just make sure you buy your fairings from a business in America. Like Delvic, they are good and priced great.
