RE: parking lot drop
Got you all beat... and it wasn't me so I can laugh all i want.
At Deal's Gap hotel, Mid day so it is PACKED with riders, about 75-100. My dad, our friend and! are headed out to go down the dragon. Well if you've been there you know its kind of an awkward hill that you have to kind of be parallel to, so the ground is close on your left side and far away on your right. well we are pulling out and this RX8 comes barreling up from the left, my dad see's it, does one of those awkward over rev grab the fronts and stall situations trying to stop on his BRAND NEW Ducati 1098... started to fall to the right, so down the hill. Needless to say the 6 knee operations and new hip on the right leg couldn't hold it, he fell and rolled into our other friend who is a short guy, so he couldn't get his foot down far enough and he fell. Luckily i was about 10 feet behind this incident, so i wasn't included in the domino effect, but i hadn't turned my camera on yet so i missed it on tape. Everyone came running over to pick up the bikes and check everyone out... but later that night the people started walking by our room to check out the damage and laugh. it was pretty funny to watch but he way pissed.

RE: parking lot drop
don;'t feel bad. i fishtailed on DRYYY CONCRETE with my 1000RR when it had less than 30 miles on it... yes, 30 miles. ended up scraping the hell out of my right fairing. the tire was brand new and it was still slick so it didnt grab well when i gave it some gas. i should have burned it out. i learned my lesson.
