Painting Windshield
Well, i read up on here previously, so i went out, and i couldn't find paint specificly for plastics, only bumpers for cars etc. Then i found some Clear Primer, for Plastics. I purchased that, and i've done two layers so far. I've got the black paint also, found for plastics (after searching hard) and it seems the primer, is slightly cracking? :/ will the black just cover it up? im going to do the certain section again with primer, but its stressing me out!
Well, you want to paint the underside of the windshield. If you primered it, then you kinda messed up already. Unless it truly is clear. Cause the primer is what you are going to see no matter what you put on next. If it really is super clear, then it may come out ok still. UNLESS you painted the topside, which aint gonna look very good either.
I did mine with paint from Orchard. It's for plastics only, and needs no primer and/or clear. It's a Rust-Oleum paint. Then says Specialty Plastic. Then on side says Direct-to-plastic paint. No Primer Needed, etc. Mine came out great. Looks really clean. I only did one coat, just enough paint to keep from seeing through it

I used this translucent model paint... http://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/tes/tes2949.htm
cheap and looks great. It runs easliy though so, you need to be very careful when you apply it.
