was the sandpaper just to prep the surface? what grit did you use? thanks

 

On mine, I dunno why but, it's not flat black primer that you can see, it's definitely very very black. I layed the gloss black cause that's what I thought you were supposed to do haha. Either way, it worked for me

 

seems to me like all kinds of paints will work fine. i just need to prep the surface with some degreaser and some fine grit sandpaper? any thoughts?[&:]

 

I didn't use any sandpaper... I just cleaned it, and sprayed it.

RC Car paint is probably going to be your best bet. It's designed to stick to plastic and be flexible (when your windshield catches a rock).

You don't need to scuff it with RC car paint.

 

thats what i used....lexan paint...but now i spent the big bucks and have a DB now, much better

 

I pulled the trigger on a Zero Gravity DB in light smoke. It should be here on the 21st. I took a chance on the ZGO 2nds on eBay. We shall see if it is up to snuff as others have said.

 

For new people reading the thread, sorry I accidentally deleted the pictures of my bike from Imageshack so now they're gone haha. I could go back and edit them but, bah.
