Yeah, obviously dirt shows up fairly easily on both white and black. I'm not super **** about it, though. I ride it too much to worry about how clean it is after every time. Whenever it's dirty enough, I clean it. Usually after some summer twisty runs where we commit insecticide with the front of the bikes.

Or, I leave it dirty and take it to things like these:

I'm jealous of those gold accents haha. I don't have the money to add anything right now That black exhaust looks clean as well. I have the ugly silver

As for paint I have the BMW Alpine White w/ blue pearls

I think if I still have the bike next year and a little extra money to kill, I'm going to change all the accents to blue or green. Just to mix it up. The gold flake in the paint might look a little more out of place then, but it's subtle enough that it'll work no matter.

The powdercoating I have done helps, too. Very little silver left on the bike, just the suspension and motor.

You're getting rid of your bike? :O Ya the blue in my white is barely noticeable as well..unless it's under some intense light. Man, I wish I could have mine look as great as yours haha Nice bike!

No plans to get rid of it right now, but I would like something newer (08+ 1000RR :drool. Just an if statement, since I never know for sure

And thanks a lot. She's been my baby for a while. Funny thing is there's still a bunch more stuff I want for it! More carbon, steering damper, 600RR swingarm, undertail, yadda yadda...

A friend of mine did it for me, so I got a deal normal people won't get. So I'm no help for being accurate.
