ok so I ended up replacing some of the aftermarket LEDs with the stock ones and now everything works. i will post pics up later.

I had 2 bad ones in my batch when I installed them on my bike.
I had ordered a couple of extras just in case they didn't work or I lost them because they are small.

From where did you order the LED's? I was thinking of just swinging by a sears hardware or something along those lines. Any tips on picking them out?

I ordered mine from Digikey.ca/.com and there is also eled.com.
They are about $0.35 each so order so spares because both mbison83 and myself had ones that did not work.
