Default o2 bypass

Hey guys,
well i just bought my first bike, an 01 cbr 600 F4i today, its pretty much stock and needs some little work here and their but i love it still. just wondering, the previous owner installed some weird carbon fiber exhaust that required you to remove the o2 sensor, now i have this stupid blinking red light in my console and im wondering if their is anyway to just ground the o2 wire, or somehow fabricate a bypass so i dont have to spend $40+ on ebay.
Thanks all![8D]

It's been a while since I did it. So don't hold me to it. But I'm almost certain it's on the left side of the bike. In this picture, I think its the plastic connector attached to the yellow wires hiding behind the frame.

dakine...you need to tighen your chain ;-)
yea it connects to the left side...the connector is a square 2 pin connector and it sits somewhere behind the idle adjuster and one of the water pump hose.
